A letter from Ms. Komal

Hello! I’m Ms. Komal, the founder, owner, and lead teacher at Providence Montessori Child Care. With over 35 years of Montessori teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Psychology, I have dedicated my life to guiding children on their journey to becoming confident, independent learners.
My Montessori journey began at Casa de Bambini in Karachi, Pakistan, where I received my Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) certification and taught Pre-K and Kindergarten. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in esteemed Montessori schools in Chicago, Minnesota, and California, including running my own Montessori school. Now, in Oceanside, I combine the best of Montessori principles with the warmth of a home-based environment, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and care.
As both a teacher and owner, I take pride in fostering an atmosphere that balances structure with freedom, creating a nurturing space where children can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. It brings me immense joy to see children blossom under the Montessori method, supported by a community of like-minded families. Together, we create a foundation for lifelong learning and meaningful connections.

With a strong foundation in dance and physical education, I have dedicated my career to sharing my passion for movement and creativity. I studied dance in the Chicagoland area and majored in Physical Education and Dance in college. During my college years, I cheered, performed with the college dance company, and danced professionally for a sports team in Chicago.

In addition to performing, I taught corporate and private dance and fitness classes in Chicago and served as a Physical Education and Dance teacher for Chicago Public Schools. After moving to Arizona, I continued to inspire others by teaching adult dance classes in Scottsdale and directing the dance program at Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix.

Now based in Oceanside, I focus on teaching dance to young dancers, nurturing their love for movement and self-expression.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I cherish spending time with my family, including my dog. I also enjoy practicing yoga and riding my bike to the beach, embracing a healthy and active lifestyle.
